Author Guidelines

Research articles and literature reviews in the disciplines of chemistry and natural science are submitted to the editor for consideration for publication in the Indonesian Journal of Natural Products Chemistry. Some article types, such as those including ideas or concepts, are not accepted for publishing in the journal. The text should be no more than ten A-4 pages long, including figures, tables, and graphs. The following are the guidelines for article writing:

Review Papers
This kind of work should be a critical and thorough examination of real subjects that are supported by novel, freshly discovered information, and recently released literature sources. An article's title, author(s), and address, followed by the abstract (in English with keywords), Introduction, Discussion, Conclusions, and the Acknowledgment and References section.

Research Articles
These kinds of articles ought to be summaries of worker-conducted study findings. The primary evaluation criteria for this kind of article are originality (i.e., that the contents are unique and have not been published before by the author(s) or researcher(s), reliability of the contents, clarity of description, contribution to the advancement of science and usefulness for the academic community, and overall scientific quality. Each article should be written using the format listed below:

Title
An article's title should be written in both Indonesian and English, and it should be no more than 25 words long. It should be succinct, descriptive, and educational. The title must not contain any chemical symbols or acronyms, and it must be written in capital letters (with the exception of Roman names, which should only have their initial letter written in capital). The whole name of the author should appear just under the article's initial title, without any indication of their scientific degree titles. For the purpose of facilitating contact, each author's postal address and institution should be listed under their name.

Abstract

An abstract should be written in two languages, the Indonesian version being no more than 200 words, and the English version being no more than 150 words. An article's abstract, which summarizes its main points, should contain information about the study's history, purpose(s), methodology, findings, and conclusions. Keywords should be included in every version of the abstract and should be included just below the abstract.

Introduction
Essentially, "Introduction" provides a rationale for the significance of the study undertaken, bolstered by pertinent citations.

Experimental Section
In order to provide information to others who are interested in using and repeating the same method(s) and enabling them to obtain comparable and repeatable findings, this section describes the materials utilized in the study undertaken, including full specifications and the provenance of the items. Relevant source(s) should be referenced and credited if the study methodology employed has already been reported in the literature by another researcher or researchers.

Results and Discussion
The study findings are provided in the Results and Discussion section; if tables and figures/graphs are used, they should have clear captions or legends. Clear and "self-explanatory" captions for tables and figures are necessary to ensure that readers can comprehend them even in the absence of reading the pertinent content. There is no requirement for material that is displayed in tables or as figures or graphs to be duplicated verbatim inside the text. After that, the data are examined and, if any, contrasted with published findings from earlier research of a similar nature. To give the discussion of the results more weight, new discoveries or inventions as well as the significance of the research results to the development of science must be mentioned.

Conclusions
Conclusions Following the results are discussed in the "Results and Discussion" section, the research results are summarized in the Conclusions section. A conclusion might be a series of points or a narrative.

Acknowledgment
This section includes a brief written statement from the author(s) expressing their gratitude to everyone who helped with the study, including the fund donor(s) and manuscript reviewer(s).

References

All of the references that were utilized to prepare the manuscript are included in the references section. Every citation needs to be written entirely. Given the variety of reference writing styles, this publication uses the ACS System as the standard.
